In Pakistan, Basmati Rice production areas lie in only Punjab between Ravi and Chenab rivers with a total production of 7.5 Million in 2018.

3. Indonesia:

In West Java and Central Kalimantan, 8-ton of Basmati Rice is produced for domestic use.

4. Nepal:

Kathmandu Valley and the Terai region of Nepal produce a unique quality of rice that is used for domestic use.

5. Sri Lanka:

A small amount of unique red rice is produced in the wet zone of Sri Lanka.
