Use: Basmati White & Brown, Long Grain White & Brown, & Himalayan Nature
1 lb lean ground beef
6 crushed garlic cloves
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1 large onion sliced
1 large bell pepper sliced (optional)
1 head broccoli (optional)
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 tsp red pepper (add more or less to meet personal preference)
6-7 sliced scallions
3 cups cooked rice of choice
Heat up a large skillet.
Add beef and cook for about 5 minutes
Clean out excess grease.
Allow onions and beef to cook (until onions translucent) (2-3 minutes)
Reduce heat to medium
Add bell peppers and broccoli and other vegetables of choice.
Add crushed garlic and grated ginger.
Stir constantly. Allow vegetables to cook for about 4-5 minutes)
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper.
Allow to cook until beef and vegetables absorb sauce (an additional 5-8 minutes)
Add in most of the scallions. Leave some for garnish.
Mix it all together for another minute and turn off heat.
Serve over cooked rice.
Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions (choice) and enjoy!
