Basics of cooking organic basmati white rice:

  1. Ratio of rice to water is 1:2

  2. A pinch of salt to taste

  3. Any additional herbs desired.

Instructions to basmati rice recipe:

  • Rise the rice thoroughly.

  • Once rinsed, allow it to soak for a minimum of 30 minutes. This will allow the grains to begin to fluff up a bit.

  • Add water to saucepan and a pinch of salt.

  • Allow it to come to a boil.

  • Once boiling, add rice to the pan.

  • Let it cook on medium-high until the water boils down.

  • The water boils down, cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on low for about 10-15 minutes.

  • Once it is done, turn off the heat and let it sit for an additional few minutes with the lid on for it to steam.

  • Once done, fluff with a fork, serve, and enjoy!

  • You can store the rice in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days and it kept frozen for up to 1 month.

  • Open organic rice packet needs to be store in a dry and clean place.
